What is the CodeTribe Academy:
mLab Southern Africa in collaboration with The Innovation Hub established the CodeTribe Academy in 2014. The programme is currently based in 4 Gauteng locations; Tshwane, Soweto, Tembisa and Alexandra. It is a full-time work based skills development programme for aspiring mobile application developers. It is a practical programme focusing on Mobile Solutions Development, SCRUM Agile and Cloud technologies in order to drive South Africa’s digital advantage.
The Programme:
Criteria:
1a. Diploma, Btech, Degree, Honours, Masters in any Information Technology [IT] or Mathematics or Statistics related field (with experience in programming) or
1b. Minimum 12 months IT qualification/certificate from a TVET or FET College (with experience programming)
2. Must be a South African citizen with a valid ID
3. Unemployed youth/graduates between 18 to 35 years of age
4. Applicants cannot have a criminal record
5. Candidates are required to register on Tshepo 1 Million
6. Candidates will be required to have a bank account as well as a SARS tax number
This application should take between 3 – 5 minutes to complete.
