With over 11 years of experience, mLab is dedicated to building a digitally empowered tomorrow through its two key pillars: the Digital Skills Accelerator and the Tech-Enterprise Accelerator.

About the Position:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Provincial Lead to manage and grow mLab’s presence in Limpopo. As the Provincial Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the implementation of mLab’s digital skills, enterprise incubation, and ecosystem activities in the province. Collaboration with mLab head-office staff is essential to ensure alignment, coordination, and effective implementation to achieve mLab’s objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provincial Portfolio Management: Develop partnership and fundraising strategies, understand the local digital entrepreneurship landscape, identify needs and opportunities, manage the provincial budget, and build mLab’s brand awareness.
• Project Management and Administration: Maintain the mLab office and facility, procure necessary supplies and equipment, monitor and evaluate provincial activities, organize and host events, and implement enterprise development activities.
• Business Development and Stakeholder Management: Identify key partners and funders, secure funding through proposal writing, participate in events and conferences, and stay current with new trends in technology and innovation.

Qualifications and Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in ICT or Business Administration (NQF level 7).
• Preferably possess software development skills or project management capabilities.
• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in small business development, project management, stakeholder engagement, working with youth, technology development or management, events management, and preferably in a business incubation environment.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Excellent team player with presentation skills.
• Ability to manage complexity, stress, and innovate in problem-solving.

Remuneration:
