At CodeTribe, we always say the goal is not just to train developers, it’s to launch careers. Today, we’re proud to share that two of our graduates have joined The Startup Legal, Karabelo Nthoroane as Frontend Lead (UX & Consistency )and Lebogang Mylas as Backend Support Engineer ( Integrations & Reliability).

The Startup Legal is a South African legal partner for startups and scaling businesses that combines practical legal expertise with an entrepreneurial mindset. They help founders navigate legal risks like contracts, compliance, IP protection and more, so startups can focus on building and growing with confidence.

Karabelo Nthoroane

For Karabelo, the fast pace of CodeTribe made all the difference.

From building web and mobile apps to working daily with Git and GitHub, the hands-on training helped him step confidently into a remote development setup. More than just coding, he learned how to collaborate in teams, fix merge conflicts, present projects, and communicate clearly. Skills he now uses every day as a Frontend Lead focused on user experience and platform consistency.

Outside of work, Karabelo keeps pushing himself. He’s currently building a crypto trading bot that uses machine learning to detect price patterns and even scans articles for sentiment signals.

What keeps him going?

“The learning never stops. I enjoy breaking things, fixing them, and understanding how they work under the hood.”

Lebogang Mylas

Lebogang’s story is one of real transformation.

“Before CodeTribe, I couldn’t confidently use a laptop,” he shared. Today, he is working professionally in tech.

At CodeTribe, he gained computer literacy, programming skills, and hands-on project experience. He learned how to use development tools, manage version control, and approach problems in a structured way. But beyond the technical side, he built discipline, confidence, and the ability to teach himself skills that now shape his daily work.

Lebogang earned his spot at The Startup Legal through his final CodeTribe project. In his current role, he contributes to development tasks, improves system functionality, and supports integrations that keep the platform reliable. Working in a startup has taught him how quickly growth can happen in the right environment.

“Going from not knowing how to use a computer to working in tech within a year showed me that real change is possible.”

What this means

Karabelo and Lebogang’s journeys remind us why CodeTribe exists. With the right training, the right support, and a lot of commitment, doors open.

And this is just the beginning.
